Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>Extents show point locations identified from SBCTA Safe Routes to Schools (SRTS) Phase II plan, SBCTA Points of Interest Pedestrian Plan (PIPP), and by local jurisdiction's active transportation plans across San Bernardino County. The sites are usually accompanied by detailed facility improvement recommendations outlined for stretches along roadways where commercial/community service activities occur, and may additionally include a buffer around that roadway stretch, Those details are available from SBCTA and/or through each jurisdiction where a engineering facility is being recommended. Other recommendations may have been more recently added/removed since the date referenced here. Extents and attributes are supplied by the local jurisdiction for which the site exists within the jurisdiction's boundary, and were approved by the local jurisdiction/agency for regional transportation planning purposes.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Note there are two improvement categorizations for classifying the types of recommendations. 'Type' are categories devised by SBCTA Data Management Office and include: 'ADA Improvement', 'Signs-Signals', 'Pavement Markings', 'Sidewalk Enhancing', 'Transit Improvement', and a catch-all 'Other'. The 'PlanType' is the original as defined in the local plan source, where 'NonPlan' indicates no data available from the original source. Other attributes include:</SPAN></P><UL><LI><P><SPAN>Jurisdiction location for improvement.</SPAN></P></LI><LI><P><SPAN>Improvement description.</SPAN></P></LI><LI><P><SPAN>Plan source.</SPAN></P></LI></UL><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN>These recommendations have been adopted by SBCTA's Board September 2020, as required for inclusion in the San Bernardino County Active Transportation Plan (SBCATP, formally known as Non-Motorized Transportation Plan, or NMTP). Extents or attributes are not subject to major updates from when the Board last approved of the data until the next time SBCTA requests updates. Data however may be updated as needed for technical corrections to ensure data is accurate between major updates. If seeking the most current extents or attributes on improvement recommendations, contact the local jurisdiction/agency based on where a feature in question is shown located by this data. Not all sites within a jurisdiction may have been updated. Data is supplied as part of semi-regular updates to SBCTA's SBCATP. The SBCATP conforms to the requirements established by the State of California for local jurisdiction eligibility to receive grant funds through ATP-cycle grants, formally under the State Bicycle Transportation Account (BTA).</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
